NFL 2020

Raaaaiiiiderrrrrzzzzz!

I think I felt that 4th quarter hit on Landry.... :laughing

ooof, that was a dirty ass hit, helmet to the back of the neck. landry seems like a decent dude too. I wish they didn't do him like that. Don't think it would have made a difference in the game though, but..ouch.

Great adjustment by Gruden's offense. They saw that medium and deep passing wasn't going to go well very early, and changed the plan quickly and almost perfectly. Great to see the running game step up when needed. O-line held up even with the injuries.

btw RT Brown had a severe illness in the locker room before the game and was carted out. They say it isn't related to his recent COVID illness...Best wishes to his health. scary shit.

Re: Brown:

Squirting air into his bloodstream? Did I hear that correct?

that's all I'm seeing too...wtf is going on with ivs and football players this year?

Brown already is a very fragile, super amazing, very expensive football player. not monitoring him 24/7 let alone when he's receiving treatment is a loss-of-job level of incompetence. Hopefully this is all ends up with everyone healthy

"This is crazy, how are the cowboys winning this game??" :laughing

Looked like a clean, HARD, hit that prevented a TD... :dunno

One of the hi-lite guys even pointed out it was "well timed" play.

cool..no reason to belabor the non-issue.

FPI reported that the Raiders had the toughest schedule over the first 7 games, where they went 4-3. Now they have the 25th toughest for the remaining games. Just KC, Indy, and Miami (???) have winning records.

I see winning 1 of those 3. Maybe they go 4-2 against the others (Guessing one loss in Denver one to the Falcons due to the east coast travel). That will leave them at 9-7. It'll be very tight to make it to the playoffs with that record, but if they can squeak out an extra win to go to 10-6, then they're in for sure.

I am so confused by how utterly NOT TERRIBLE our defense is this year.

the football gods, for some reason (perhaps my prayers..:dunno) decided to shit on the 9ers this year. Brutal.

edit: like, straight in their moufs. gottam, all that's left is a baseball bat to shanahan's knees. (I'm not wishing that). dayum.

they're a really good team when healthy. add them to the list of those who are wishing for a speedy 2021 to come

Well, they made it close....

Oh no, Giants leading in start of the 4th Quarter only to give up multiple scores in the 4th Q and then lose by a field goal or less?

Never seen that before liek every single week. :laughing

The awful part is how close they are. I mean, if they could just stink on ice and completely fail to lose by an overwhelming margin every week like the Jets, it would be easier to stomach.

When you have just enough talent to keep things interesting, make some defensive holds, have a few big plays on offense, despite all the missed Big Plays, Blown Tackles, and stupid penalties, stil manage to lead through a lot of the game only to choke out by a couple every damn time, that is the worst.

It is also a indicator that the team is just a couple of pieces away from being able to win for real.
