Official BARF BEER Crew

It's all gone now. The only way to get your hands on West Ashley is when they announce it on Facebook and you have to go to their brewery. I don't know when they will have another bottle release of it. Honestly, this sour is kind of hype up and I still enjoy Rare Barrel - "Map of the Sun" over this.

Tuesday Boozeday:twofinger

Oh man, couple years ago Mrs Vicious and I took the pedal bikes to a near by restaurant that had that on the menu. She ordered one and really like it so she had another. We're on the pedal bikes and only 2 miles from home by way of the iron horse....so she had another. And one more for good measure. Apparently neither of us looked at the price, they were $11 each. I had gotten into the Sculpin, that was an expensive afternoon :laughing

More beer.

Drakes has some amazing barrel aged stuff on tap right now. Too bad they don't fill growlers/sell bottles of the barrel aged goodness. :(

Wow good job on the vanilla shake. did you like it?

Although I generally have a big "F-U" to people telling me the "proper" way to do anything, I thought this was a wordy but timely addition for yesterday's festivities.

Fuck, I've been doing it wrong the whole time, I drink the shot before the Guinness :facepalm

Finally you’re ready to drink your beer. Guinness is not a beer you daintily sip, or one for which you slurp the head off before drinking the rest – drinking the beer in either of these manners will be another sure-fire reason for people to question your authenticity. Instead, grab the pint and gulp down at least a quarter of the beer, as if it’s the first drink you’ve had in years. Now take three more gulps. There should be only four foam lines in the glass when you’re done with it.

If you want to look even more legitimate, order a shot of Irish Whiskey to go along with your pint, but don’t even think about drinking the chaser until you finish your beer.

I don't get a shot with a Guiness. Maybe a lighter beer for the concept, like the old Boilermakers. I just love the flavor the Guiness by itself. So I ain't authentic-y either!

Ya, it's good. Crazy thing is I can still taste it now. Usually other beers I will kinda forget how it taste after a couple of days but this I remember very well.
I was able to find two at Jane's bottle shop in Mountain View. The owner is this hot Asian chick that's into motorcycles and beer.

You're going to the wrong bars/pubs, my friend.
:laughing :Port
