Official BARF BEER Crew

My favorite coffee stout is the Black Xantus Imperial Stout by Humbolt Brewing.

Not a big fan of coffee, but coffee beers are my favorite.

I like black xantus a lot. Doesnt really taste like coffee to me though. Reminds me of abyss. Try the pirate bomb if you like coffee stouts. Amazing.

two of the 4 horsemen of the drake's hopocalypse.

the black's a tIPA, and it was pretty hard to come by. It's huge, and packs a whallop. not a guzzling beer.

the white's a dIPA using wheat malt, and is for sale at the brewery. it's pretty damn tasty. Probably my favorite of the 4.

the red's a blood orange dIPA...it's ok

the green's a standard dIPA and is satisfactory

The black is pretty damn tasty, although over priced.
I thought the black label was nasty but the white and green is really good.

Concord brew fest Saturday!

http://bnbrewfest.com/

Went and concord and got drunk. Really nice day to be out doors. Glad it worked out well for them.

so let's say you kinda tricked your wife into letting you go to Vegas with the dude friends...

and y'all liked to drink beers...

and you wanted to stay at a hotel with great beers....

what would YOU do?

You pay the cover fee and they give you a tasting glass. Then you can try as many beers as you like.

Does anyone know what breweries fill corny kegs in the East Bay, or anywhere in the bay for that matter. Do they even do it? Heard it depends. Buddy was thinking about using one for camping trips and is wondering how he can fill it.

no haven't heard of that. I rent sanke kegs from Drakes, BJs, TotalWine, and BevMo. but haven't seen anyone willing to fill a corny keg.

If your buddy finds one, let me know please

You could just buy a bunch of growlers and pour them into your corny :rofl

Well here goes nothing-

I just picked up some of this:
Waldos12oz.png

It's fantastic. 11.5%, pretty damn close to Pliny the Younger in aroma. Balanced enough to enjoy.

I couldnt believe it when i went yesterday, but grocery outlet had ba narwhal for 16, parabola for 17, and a bunch of kbs.

Holy crap! I need to check my Grocery Outlet. KBS is fricking amazing (they have it on tap at my local right now), and narwhal is ridiculously good, too.

I wasn't a fan of the narwhal personally

I love the barrel aged narwhal narwhal. Kbs is great but it is very over-hyped imo. The amazing thing is that grocery outlet had them and cheap. Firestones Parabola is usually a one bottle limit and often jacked up in price. Under 20 bucks is unheard of. They also had saint archer tusk and grain no.1 which is supposed to be awesome but i havent tried yet.

:wtf

My friend brought that nasty crap over the other day.

Funky smell, very little hop flavor, too sweet...more like Lil Sumpin.

I like their basic IPA but not much else from Lagunitas.
