I have a jihad on brats n brews. I ordered a beer. Paid in cash. Took a whiz. Bartender took my change from a $20. and then gave me shit for wanting it back.
 
Yeah, if it was that skinny blonde kid, I don't like him either.
 
Surprisingly delicous. It's like a stronger version of the little Sumpin with a tad more bitterness.

Modern Times make some really good stouts. I just had their Black House on Nitro and it was delicious.

I havent had much modern times, I'll have to try more. Drinking maybe the best sour in the world tonight, Abbaye de Saint Bon Chien.

Yeah The One coffee stout (maybe the same one) that I had from Modern Times was really _something_. It knocked me out with it's good taste! Haha , no I know better than that, but: .. I could seriously taste BOTH the good coffee and the good strong beer!
 
Hey, I got my hands on a few cans of Heady Topper. I've had two so far and they are absolutely wonderful. Is anybody interested in trying some? I'd be willing to trade for something interesting. I have three left, although that may change very soon....

I'm pretty open. I traded somebody in VT straight across for Pliny. Granted, shipping wasn't cheap, but I figure something equivalent is fair.

I'm not a huge Temptation fan, although I'd be fine with that. I was noticing on Facebook that Beer Revolution is having their 6th Anniversary party this weekend. If anyone wants to meet up there, I can bring a couple and we can sample it and a few other beers. I'm more into meeting up with some new people than just swapping beers, so let's figure something out.
 
Prairie pirate bomb. One of the best stouts Ive ever had. Up there with bcbs and the best barrel aged stouts around.

two of the 4 horsemen of the drake's hopocalypse.

the black's a tIPA, and it was pretty hard to come by. It's huge, and packs a whallop. not a guzzling beer.

the white's a dIPA using wheat malt, and is for sale at the brewery. it's pretty damn tasty. Probably my favorite of the 4.

the red's a blood orange dIPA...it's ok

the green's a standard dIPA and is satisfactory

The black is pretty damn tasty, although over priced.
 
Just picked up my white label from Maplewood today :) I also sold him a bunch of Founders that we just got. People on fb were telling me you could get founders in SF or Richmond, which sure, you can, but now I can go 2 miles down the street to get some

Maplewood was my parents' favorite liquor store. Great selection and the delis are always cold. I grew up about a mile away, on Trenton dr.
