Just makes dating tough early on since I'm in San Ramon. Always cruising out there and then leaving late cuz I have dogs and can't stay the night. Forgot to mention she's my age, 30, and 3 years from being done with school where as I've been out and may be looking into Phd programs. Not a huge issue but an example how we might be in different places, geographically and career wise.
2nd date with a girl tomorrow who is closer, lives solo in an Apt, done with school and wicked smart with a solid career. Oh and she's about 5'2 and maybe 115
I clicked with oakland girl but just predict the always driving out there, no parking, no spontaneous visits by her will get old fast.
I honestly feel online dating creates a 'grass is greener' mentality as it's too easy to click and look for something else.

But did you have dawgs? I have to be home at 9 to feed and give my dog her meds. It's easy to work around if the person lives 15 minutes away.

Seriously dude, if Eliot Spitzer can shell out 5k a night, you can spring for $5/gal gas over $3/gal. It's San Ramon, even in my truck that's less than $5 additional round-trip.

Id get up in the middle of the night to go see her. I stay up all night for her. I drove her mom an hour and a half then drove right back to see her in the hospital.
I would've, too, but it'd be hard to make it back to work the next morning in time. Sometimes ya gotta drive.
Also, if your place is in the hood, why'd you sell the condo, Dubby? If you're seriously risking your life to venture outside, move.

I live in Danville, girl lives off Lakeshore Oakland. I bought nearly 3 years ago. Her place is in the hood, with no off street parking at all close by. She wont be staying at my place much at all since she doesnt have a car to get out here. I'm just being realistic in the beginning and trying not to let her tasty lady bits cloud my judgment
