Porsche Panamera S ?

Late to the thread. If you go Panny, get as recent a model as you can afford, definitely post rear end facelift. Or, if you want to pay out the rectum for a new one, just wait for the new one that's coming out in a matter of months. Looks to be a step forward in both looks and performance.

if you consider a Macan, make sure you sit in the back seat. I'm 6'1" and I can't sit upright in the rear seat of one of those things. Head hits the roof. Cool SUV, but really small.

I've decided to skip the panny, and wait a bit for a 997TT. I'd like to buy it when i'm still young so I can enjoy the driving experience. I decided to pass on a 996TT because of the interior.

I never wanted a Macan, not sure why it was even brought into this thread.

I used to think 996 TT is the ultimate car till I drove a GT3.

I'll be happy even if it's not the RS version.

The 997TT's are super fun cars.

Still young...WTF? Bite me! Nothing better than out driving a younger driver in a "better" car. Or having the PoPo do a double take when they look at your birth date.

The headlights are the deal breaker for me. Yeah, I know minor, but freaking ugly.

Well Tim, I consider you a young guy. At least you look the part!

Are you unable to put a child restraint in a 997?

I've had my daughter in the Z06 damn near since birth. The reactions I get are split 50/50 between shock/anger, and thumbs-up. Both are equally entertaining.

Battery died. He can't figure out how to open the door.

Bwahaha! I joined the Corvette Forum and was shocked to see more than one thread similar to this:
"Posting from my phone. Locked in car, left keys on workbench".

We have the same latching system in the DD, and got an "URGENT" snailmail from GM on bright yellow paper, explaining how to get out of the car. I got a similar letter within a few months after the guy lost his life in Tennessee.
