There is a really long list for both positive and negative impacts. It's not the belief or the non-belief; it's the agenda that both sides have on forcing society to do what's "right".

Actually they are not the same. The reason people believe motorcycle's are death traps are because people are constantly killed on them. Rider error or not. So they have some basis for that, skewed maybe, but they do have something to back it up. People who say "Motorcycles are death traps" I wouldn't say that's preposterous just biased.

I respect the fact that most of my friends are Christian, but they never question my non-belief and we get along just fine and vice-versa. When religion gets in the face of people who do not believe then it becomes an issue(and vice-versa again), and BELIEVE me when I tell you religion is CONSTANTLY in the face of those who do not believe.

I for one am very thankful for organized religion. It scares me to think what this planet would be like if all those wackos knew there was no beautiful afterlife waiting for them. As wacked as religion is in my opinion, we'd have chaos and anarchy without it.
