Mind is wondering on Santa Rosa Creek Road. I see flooding and a lot of downed trees in my
Minds eye.

What road?
It's weird that the centerline looks white in that photo.![]()
The slide happened in Novato Tuesday evening on Redwood Boulevard next to U.S. Highway 101 and Olompali State Park.
This person decided to drive around the barricades and signs on Corral Hollow...

Just rode back from Death Valley yesterday. On the way down we took Airline out of Hollister and it was great. Peachtree was closed though at 198, so only option was go West to 101. 58 was closed West of McKittrick (still), and 178 was closed, too, so all we could do was drop down to 166 and head across.
The good news is 178 was open for our ride home yesterday - was fine, although I ran into a Harley guy at a diner in Lake Isabella who had a broken foot. He showed us a video on his phone he took of a huge rockslide in Kern Canyon that took him out - in his car, which was totalled. Be careful out there. All the wet has made things shifty.
