Well all I know is that they were outlawed because they rollover easily. Notice the only time they get on it is in a straight line. Never ridden one before buts quads are already prone to rolling over I can only imagine the trikes.

Check this out someone on ADVrider found this kit that has an electric motor with a 4 speed gearbox. It looks like they just took a a gas engine and added a giant starter to it. Supposedly this is the same motor that is in the Banshee Storm.

Very tempting to build an electric quad with this. Could just use the Sur Ron battery with this... That or I could just get that electric quad MXE-007.

Today I said bye bye to my Cake Kalk&. Putting this behind me now having learned that I made a big mistake in purchasing a two wheel EV from the wrong company. I won't make that mistake again.

Wow they couldn't even get you a new one? I could understand Polaris not being able to fix my bike because Victory is out of business and they don't have the resources to do it. Least you still got the Sur Ron.

That's why I'm waiting for something decent from one of the japanese companies or Ducati, KTM, maybe Aprilia or BMW. A full hearted E motorcycle and not a half hearted moped, pitbike, oversized electric bicycle thing.

The nostalgic among us can always just mount a Scottoiler to the bike and have it point at the ground instead of the chain. Cue sweet licensing opportunity for Harley's Livewire e-bike.
