The Official 2015/2016 NFL Thread

Isn't that pic from the specific loss to that got Jon Gruden fired as it knocked the Bucs out of the playoffs, the one game where Jacarcass Russell looked like he could possibly be an NFL caliber QB?

I do believe it is.... :laughing

Well, yes, the Al Davis legacy was that the Raiders were so terrible, you let them beat your team, you clearly were not worthy of being a professional Coach in the NFL. I mean, a coach can have a down season, sometimes you have a bad year but if you lose to THE RAIDERS of all teams, you are done for, nobody loses to those guys, they're a laughingstock.

It must be so nice for Raiders fans now that the wicked Witch of the Oak is dead and this team can now really seems to have a bright future ahead of it. So many talented young players on that roster now that the worst NFL Owner in history isn't picking them.

We have 697 Wins over 90 years including 8 Pro Football Championships. We consistently deliver an NFL championship about once per decade for nearly a century. The respect of some vile peasant team from a west coast backwater freshly started in the 1960's is beneath our notice, plebian.

:teeth

except Jerry Rice and Ronnie Lott. Fuck that bullshit.

Niner cast-offs seem to do alright in Silver & Black... you might be too young to remember, but when the 9ers were really inept, they let this guy go... to 2 Super Bowls! :laughing

Yeah, but getting Gruden fired was something special....

That's some ownage right thar... :thumbup

Considering teams other than the Giants plebian cracks me up. Like LT (their greatest player) was somehow socially superior to a Raider. Rilly????? Eldo is subject to periodic outbreaks of rhetorical fancy. And the thug Leonard Marshall taking out Joe Montana? Rilly??? Parcells wasn;t a caviar man either, fercrynoutloud. I have NEVER gotten the sense that the New York Giants football team was an iteration of Manhattan highstyle, never.

Yeah, the 7-5 record is what I see above... :laughing

Of course you do, child. You probably think the AFC is made up of real football teams too, don't you?

Bloody peasants. :rolleyes

No, there are many teams of Noble birth in the NFL. The Packers, Bears, Cardinals, Redskins, Steelers, Rams, Eagles and even some respect for the newer nobles from the Niners, Browns and Colts. Essentially, if your team wasn't around when the Korean War was over, you're an upstart young peasant team. Nouveau riche upstarts at best. That is what makes the fucking Cowgirls so bloody intolerable in our division. They don't belong with us. Some of the Noble families that founded the kingdom have made poor choices and fallen on to harder times than others (LOL, poor Cleveland), but the founding fathers are the founding fathers.

Good on ya! It's awesome that you cling to the championships of that era by the Giants as great accomplishments, when there was ONLY 7 OTHER F'N TEAMS! :thumbup

Shit, my college intramural flag football team played more teams than that... :laughing

But, I understand your bitterness towards the "Nouveau riche", my team was hoisting Lombardi's while yours was playing, rather pathetically, in the Yale Bowl! :laughing :thumbup

The sad thing was, it took them 22 years to adjust to the new style of football these teams brought in.:dunno

Now, they've had some success recently, but those successes are getting further in the rearview mirror given the way they've played recently.

I'll stand by that 7-5, that's franchise ownage right thar, and I'm going by your math that the NFC has "dominated" the SB, when really, they haven't (26-23)....

:thumbup

least suprising news ever:

Eric Berry, Comeback Player of the Year

Cam Newton is a little bitch. What a sore loser. Classless act. the post game press conference was an embarrassment.

postgame interviews and pressers are stupid anyways, honestly.
