The Official 2015/2016 NFL Thread

Frank Gore is reconsidering going to the Eagles, thinking about Colts.

And the 9ers are releasing Stevie Johnson.

I would much rather see Gore on the Colts.

Oh and apparently Bruce Miller got arrested and Navorro Bowman might be cut because his knee is really destroyed.

FUck.

Seriously? I mean, am I crazy in that I keep seeing this entire Championship Team completely collapsing into a full rebuild in like a single year?

Pretty crazy. 11 arrests for the 49ers since 2012 according to the news tonight.

Not even the Raiders can keep up that kind of pace.

Looks like Lb Dan Skuta is jumping that sinking ship as well...to sign with the jaguars! :laughing

Nobody has it better!

Right? I used to slam the Raiders for their "Commitment to excellence" but after the first 5-6 years of losing seasons it just got boring.

And the Bengals have done nothing but fail for decades. It's like the 1988 super bowl was their albatross. They haven't been relevant since I was in high school. And even when they do have some regular season success we all know they can't get past the wild card match.

Those two teams are so pathetic it isn't even worth bringing up...most of the time.

:rofl:rofl

Something tells me the Harbaugh era will be looked upon in future seasons with tremendous amounts of wistful nostalgia....

As for the rationalization that since the coach is gone then so are the problems, I got nothing to help ya! :thumbup

Yeah, it seems like it might be three or four coaches down the line before somebody becomes memorable. I hope I'm wrong.

And the rationalization is crap. The problem is the ownership. Painfully obvious. Winning with class. Says the scion of Ohio shopping mall fortune. It's not as bad as that racist dood in LA with the basketball team. but watching those public statements set the table. Nobody likes York or Baalke, they are objects of contempt. If the team has success, it will be despite the owner-GM. You could make fun of Al Davis, but at least he had the credentials in his past. Combover and weasel eyes don't do a thing for me. I probably should give a bit more credit to Baalke, but I really don't like the way the JH situation was handled, not even a bit. Firing without class.

I'm with ya there. But, if by some miracle, the 9ers win the SB this year Baalke and York will be haled as the best FO tandem in years. Chances of it happening? Slim and none. And Slim is retiring with PWilly and JSmith.

okay.

Fan loyalty is exceedingly hard. But we'll all smoke the delusion crack and support our team...(yes. that was half-hearted and barely sincere).

As for the guy who "built the team." they built a stadium then suddenly the team, uh, didn't seem that important.

Sure, it's all second-guessing. We'll see.

okay.

If my team is actually successful this season I am completely open to reconsideration of my view on Baalke and Jeddybear. Given the mass exodus that's going on right now if the team can pull off a winning season I'd be willing to give Baalke a second thought.

mass exodus?

there is ONE player who is leaving that wasn't expected to, and that's Willis. Even with that, Borland is ready to step in.

Yeah, I have been harping on that as a Harbaugh problem for the last couple of years. Maybe it was more of a Baalke thing.
