Raider and 9ers to coin toss for the 9th and 10th pick. Way to screw up your draft position, 9ers.

What do you think the Raiders should address? I’m thinking another pass rusher on defense, or a stud RB like one of the Georgia kids. Of courseDBs, as always.

Chucky can just rotate the dagger for Al's sins by goin to Detwah, if he even is returning to coaching. City on the upswing, new stadium, Matthew Stafford, sheeyit, why go to a a joint about to move to Vegas and deal with Dementia, Jr. anyway? He'd have to do an autopsy first and a lot of re-building to even figure out what the hell went wrong...

Color me skeptical.

for every "screw up" of draft position they are also hurting the value the Pats got in exchange for Jimmy G and concurrently lowering the cost they paid for him.

a 9th or 10th pick of second round for that dude as opposed to the second pick of day 2? :party

my head says the secondary

my heart says a wr who would actually catch the ball on a consistent basis then drop craptree like a hot tamale

I thought they were too pass happy, and the run opens up the pass. Defenses didn't have to worry Lynch and Richard the way they did about Murray.

who's the best qb in the bay area?

There are no QB's in the Bay Area. Raiders went to Vegas, Niners went to Silicon Valley. I reckon this must be what it was like in L.A. in the 80's. "Well shit, we HAD 2 teams..."

The top 5 pick would have been a QB anyway. Significantly better to already have a franchise guy at the expense of picking 9th instead of 4th.

Yeah, I mean, I was against the trade but dude looks legit as fuck. I would take a legit Franchise guy to slide 10 points in the 1st round any god damn day of the week.

Don’t worry, Eldy, Mayfield will probably be available for the #2 overall.

It didn’t hit me until reading thru the posts that after starting the season 0-9 the 9ers ended with the same record as the Raiders. Fucking hilarious! :laughing

You know, I can admit I appear to be hella wrong about that Jimmy G trade. The Niners are still not a very good football team, but they have been unstoppable with bro at the helm. He is elevating his team mates. They pick a WR at #1 and a Tackle with their #2 and the Niners transform into a serious threat next year.

Mayfield or Rosen would be the traditional Giants route, but we have a new GM who wants to make a splash. I would not be SUPER surprised if the Giants take the best Pass Rusher at #2, trade Eli to Denver, and Hire Kirk Cousins as a big ol' FU to Washington.

It's weird that the first 5 games of the season look similar to the last 5 games of the season except the W/L are switched. Jimmy G makes us marginally better which means we are contenders with him behind center. :twofinger

I'm hoping the Gnatis take Mayfield that's just the kind of circus they need as their QB for the next few years. :thumbup

I remember a lot of Panthers players, staff, and fans being rather celebratory when Gettleman was fired a few years back.

Old school GM meeting millennial players of todays NFL may not be the forward thinking that team needs.

Lynch/Shanahan said in their end of year presser they're going to be aggressive in FA to fill holes so they can take BPA in the draft without having to expect to find a starter. Their biggest holes are CB, interior OL, EDGE, and then an elite WR1 type.

My FA wishlist is something like:

Allen Robinson WR
Ziggy Ansah EDGE
Andrew Norwell G
EJ Gaines CB

Then they're free to take BPA in the draft. I'd love CB Josh Jackson from Iowa OR Roquan Smith from Georgia to go next to Foster and have the Willis/Bowman thing going on again.

Then again, F it, give Leveon Bell a blank check and trade for Josh Gordon and tell the league F U :teeth

I disagree some. The fact is that the Niners D fought really hard this year, especially in both games against Seattle. But there is only so much you can do when you're on the field too much. When you consder the point margins they lost by this year, it isn't just Jimmy G-sus making it all happen like magic. The D never gave up, I feel they deserve recognition even while the other team has cancer in the locker room and all.

I am looking forward to seeing what the Giants do....this was painful even as a non-fan even while my team lost and lost...

They also have a horrible pass rush and one of the worst CBs in the league.

How the f' did Marvin Lewis get a 2 year extension...? :facepalm

Ok, I watched a replay of the Bengals/Ravens game, I'm gonna take this back... :laughing

Anytime Suggs says ""Fifteen years as a Raven, I would have to say this one is definitely the most devastating... I'll remember this one forever." you did something right. Literally, the Ravens had that game, the Bengals down to a 4th and 14, and they gave up a miracle TD. If you catch a replay of it, do watch! (A virtual cheers to Elbacalao!)

No way, they are way too conservative an organization for that. The main reason they took Eli over Rivers was character.

The Giants take guys like Eli, Strahan, Antonio Pierce. Dudes who are more quiet leaders that don't bring a ton of drama or false bravado. When you are an organization that positions itself as Football Nobility, you have to maintain a certain degree of dignity to the press.

We seem to allow a certain amount of nonsense from guys who catch (Plax, Shockey, ODB), because receivers just seem to be wired that way, but typically guys who make too much noise get fast tracked to replacement (sorry, Osi). I'm honestly curious how long ODB will last. Talent only buys you so much with the Giants and ODB is injured an awful lot. Shockey broke his leg and got dumped, Odell hasn't stayed healthy for a whole season yet and his personality is a better for an organization that prides themselves on classlessness like the Jets, Raiders or Cowgirls.

Oh, Eldy, if only there were enough room for more people in the fantasy you call reality I would happily join you. :laughing

Tell you what, I will buy you a drink to wash away your stained pride if the Gnatis pick Mayfeild. Would be funny as hell though.

Giants should REALLY hope that Cleveland doesn't go Rosen #1

Rosen and Darnold both declared for the draft. Giants should get an Eli replacement no matter what.
