cold noodles. i am completely addicted to them. boiled egg, some cabbage kimchi, tofu, and that’s beefless bulgogi i bought at trader joe’s. not bad. is actually better reheated. the cucumbers were thrown in a jar with sesame oil and rice vinegar for 30 minutes which gives a nice flavor View attachment 564652
I love this bowl, I'm gonna try to recreate it this weekend.

Where do you buy these cold noodles? Don't think I've seen them at TJs
i bought the kits at a store in LA’s K-town. i reckon Ranch 99 would have these as they sell Pulmuone products.

We had some of the Trader Joe's fake burgers recently and they were pretty good.

There was however some real mayo and butter used in the deal.

Its okay to eat fish.

They don't have any feelings.

LOL...truer words have never been spoken.

Seriously...fish have THE MOST feelings.
There entire body is wired for sound...underwater sound...and you know how muffled that shit can get.

Some of my best friends are fish.

:teeth

yo @discoganya did you ever make cold noodles? i had them again yesterday. :D
I did! And they were amazing, so thank you for the tip. I did exactly the same pairing with the kimchi, marinated cucumbers, the boiled egg and the Trader Joes veggie bulgogi. My wife and kids were impressed. Too bad I did not take any pictures, but we're going to have this meal again and often.

you have no idea how stoked i am that you enjoyed it this much. i went to the market here yesterday and i bought more of this version that has dried noodles and a sauce packet. it’s good and each pack has four portions so it sounds like it’s enough for the whole fam. i found that market also has house made kimchi. it was so full of flavor i ate like a quarter pound of it just grazing. 🐷

dissclaimer - those are internet photos. But I could make it. That last one would feature a moderate puree with lemon-jalapeno salsa and red pepper flakes
