Walking Dead season 5

Shit, I don't remember any of that.

It's been a while since I've read them. Might have to take a peek back.

Rick and Abraham and Carl meet up with him when they go on their side mission to resupply while on the road. I think they go back to Rick's police station and find him near there.

I just reread a lot last night from where they meet Aaron. I had forgotten a lot, and how much happens before the next major story arc. I had thought certain things happened much sooner than they actually do.

Oh man, is that the scene where the gang of bad guys attack them on the highway and try to rape Carl?

I don't think that's going to be in the TV show, so wouldn't consider it a spoiler.

I'll remove it if someone disagrees.

For some reason they refuse to call them zombies.

They're zombies for f's sake.
Robert Kirkman addressed that a while back. His point was to create a world where the people are unaware of the concept of zombies until the thing happened. Then they came up with their own terms for the things.
I wonder who shot that flare gun in the air when they were on that road with all the walkers? Seems like Aaron had a bad reaction to it.
Pretty sure it was Eric's flare (flair? :laughing)

That scene happened a couple seasons ago... Edit: last season

Fuck, really? My brain isn't what it used to be, I swear.

I kind of remember it now...

Yeah the show did it right before going to Terminus to show Rick becoming willing to do just about anything to protect himself and Carl.

In the comic it happens on the side trip with Carl and Abraham. It is a bonding moment as the brutality prompts Abraham to tell his own backstory. The TV show did that with a flashback, although it wasn't as graphic.

Then they meet crazy Morgan whose son died. The show covered some of that at the prison actually when they went back to Rick's town. Although they left him there in the show so presumably they added the following storyline so he meets up with the group again.

how could you forget Rick biting a chunk outta that dudes neck? :laughing and the fat guy, just knowing that he fucked up, BIG TIME, drops his knife and Rick proceeds to angrily stab him to death\m/..\m/

That just leveled the playing field right there!:thumbup

So I watched the episode finally and got caught up.

Don't trust it. Don't like it. Where's all the people?!?!?!?!

Ghey guy's partner was way too ghey.

Where did they get 12 foot long 15 foot tall pieces of cold rolled steel? Yet no camera development skillz? Super solar panels but no digital camera? They looked through the car but didn't notice the plates or the listening gear?

Part of me was scared that this could be the end of the series. But more of me thinks this is a really bad idea.

i think the edit of the next episode makes us think theres not a lot of people there

not sure on the steel...my first thought was they grabbed road plates and used those if they had something to life them....

I wonder what Daryl's deal is going to be. Seems like he is going to be living in the woods outside the walls in no time. :laughing

How do they have so many supplies, enough to feed 13 new mouths, with that fuckbag running the supply runs. Glenn is a badass.

Daryl didn't look too happy about not being named a constable either. Don't know what that was all about. I thought it was incredibly stupid for the group to give up their guns after what happened at Terminus. They could have walked through the camp with their guns to take a look around if they wanted. No one would have stopped them. Luckily for them it looks like they won't get their throats slit and bled out over a tub. The new homes look legit, but as we all know trouble is comin.

Well, he is just not fitting in yet.

And he's bi. I saw the preview, and he is all mad at the gay guy for following him, which means he actually wants him.

I think it's more that Daryl sees it as the type of community where he's never fit in, and doesn't want to.

Rick's quote at the end is prolific.

missed it. will have to catch up tues morning:(

really enjoyed this episode....

Carol was cracking me up. I think she is intentionally trying to look weak.

Daryl.... gutting the opossum on the front porch... classic

dont trust that young girl. I think shes the one who snagged Ricks blender gun

Guy on the front porch... could be trouble

Happy to see Glenn lay that dude out... what a bad ass Glenn has grown into. "no one's impressed, walk away" :thumbup

RIP Ricks Beard
