BARF Militia

That's the second one I've seen posted today with those aluminum grips. So far I have only been able to find them for sale on the CZ UK website.

CZ tip;
The SP01 has a longer Slide Stop (~3 mm) than a 75B, It fits the big brother 97B too.

Been debating on what I want to get once I graduate college and start working and have money again.

On the list:

Benelli Vinci 28"
CZ-97
AK-47 side-folder with a quad rail + rear mounted optic.

Something like this but with an ACOG or red dot instead of the full scope, and instead of the UBR a more traditional AK side folder. Also don't need bipod on the front, just want a front foregrip.

hey sonny, what handgun or handguns fit Roxy the best, which does she like the best?

Claudia is ready to move on to a 9mm from the Walter P22 she has now, but I want to get options on what I should have her try out before I drop money.

PS, the P22 will be sold, anyone interested?

I'm going to have to closely inspect her hands in order to give a informed opinion.
:devil.... :wow.... :later

Seriously, Are you guys in the area anytime soon ?

Which rule is that? Can only buy 5 handguns every 90 days or something?
Only one new pistol every 30 days

First thing I did was stipulate a 9mm plastic gun. (mistake)
Second was to ask her which felt most natural in the hand.
Third was the ergonomics and trigger feel.
Forth was price, if to be considered at all.

On this particular field trip she was told to ignore ME (I<3Glock), and the SALES monkey (not Roman as we were just window shopping). She held the Sig Sauer, H&K, Px4 Storm, M&P, Springfield XD, and Glock.

felt natural - Sig Sauer, H&K, Px4 Storm, M&P, Springfield XD, and Glock

ergos & trigger - Sig Sauer, H&K, Px4 Storm, M&P, Springfield XD, and Glock

Lastly was customization like sights & trigger work, this eliminated the Px4 having less aftermarket support at the time, this was her choice for a plastic gun. It was then decided a 5" model would improve accuracy and felt recoil, so I did the trigger and sights trying to imitate the G17 I use for competition. This is where the mistake becomes evident, a full metal frame reduces felt recoil, The CZ75B, Sig 226, 1911, Berreta 92, and Browning HiPower all should have been considered. She then should have shot all of them, as she is still impressed with how the G17 trigger breaks, and has never turned down a Glock since buying the XD.

Out of my own bias I'd put a Glock (plastic) or CZ75 (metal) in her hand, or one in each. :twofinger The Glock is customizable and convertible (to .22LR even), and the CZ is a phenomenal shooter for the $$.

thanks, i will put the storm. 226 and a couple various compacts in her hands and see. She has shot the 226 and likes it, and I am partial to the 226 as well. I have never seen anybody pick up a 226 and NOT shoot well, but the frame might be a wee bit too big for her...

fuck! that px4 looked awsome!, till i saw that the safety is backwards

The awesome part ends there and even then the looks are not very appealing to many experienced gun owners. I have to recommend shooting it before buying. I think it's a terrible firearm in no small part to that safety. The safety lever is also angled on the face but in the wrong direction encouraging your thumb to slip up and off the face when trying to disengage the safety. Also the slide is ridiculously wide and the release lever is bulbous and interferes with your shooting grip.

My brother in law has one and says he likes it but it's obvious he is just trying to convince himself he didn't make a bad decision when he bought it based on looks. He has to wear a band aide on his thumb or the safety tears the skin off. I would look elsewhere.

The P239 has a tiny frame and shoots pretty soft for something that small.
