NFL 2019

So basically you're babbling on because you don't like the Raiders? Got it! :laughing

No, just trying to understand the behavior. I do not believe in not understanding things. So far, no Raider fans have been able to present me their logic, so I have to assume pending any further information that there is none for people still supporting the team in the Bay Area and the fans do not use a logical medium to tender their support.

Herd animal behavior, group think, other similar low minded human behaviors.

:dunno

LOL, Janoris Jenkins did not stay unemployed long.

The Niners will probably have to face him on an improved Aints Defense in January. It makes the Niners remaining season pretty interesting.

If Seattle takes the West, there is no way SF beats the Aints in New Orleans again this year. If they come marching in, I believe they will get whupped in a game less close in San Jose.

No different than being a NY Giants (or any other team) fan no matter how much you want to postulate or pontificate, and if you can’t understand emotion over logic than I can’t help.... :dunno

really, you nailed it when referring to the team and not the city several times in one post...I thought you got it, so? I'm surprised it is that difficult to understand that one can be a Raiders fan and not necessarily an Oakland fan or an LA fan or an LV fan. But ok, maybe you just want to argue because your team sucks. :shrug

the giants play in east rutherford, nj

According to our resident NY Giants fan those swamps of Jersey have been annexed by Manhattan, as if it's next to Central Park West or the Guggenheim.

(The best New York team currently plays in Orchard Park.)

Maybe that black cat was the reincarnation of a soul of a Raider fan sent by Al to curse the Giants and the Jets...

But that is the breaking point that makes no sense to me. That is the point that I can't figure out. The Raiders are some of the worst losers the NFL has seen in a quarter century. They are not like, "on a bad patch." They are professional losers. It is all they do, for decades.

The piece I am trying to figure out is why someone would be attracted to a team like that. Like, the Steelers and Cowgirls have HUGE fanbases that have never even been to Texas or Pitt, because they are very consistently competitive. They make a good football product. The Raiders simply don't. Is it a fashion statement, like the flash of the Black Uniforms? :dunno

:dunno It is 5 miles from the City.

I mean, I don't think the Niners fans would have been mad if the new park was built in Daly City or South City either. :dunno

I don't think the Raiders give much of a shit about the Giants, we have no real history, but a Curse on the Jets I can see, LOL.

new york city elevation: 33'..metlife stadium is reaaalllly close to the hackensack too.

oakland elevation: 43'

las vegas elevation: 2001'

we just playing the long game, yo...new york is certainly moving some day

:teeth

edit HOLYSHIT Metlife stadium is 7 ft above sea level! http://elevation.maplogs.com/poi/1_metlife_stadium_dr_east_rutherford_nj_usa.320716.html

So you are saying that Las Vegas will become Oakland Beachfront Property due to global warming. OK, at least that is a reason. I like it. :laughing

"on a bad patch."

WE ARE THE BAD PATCH, BABY!

edit: except for a few gruden years, they were doing nothing in Oakland, agreed. let's everyone move on. we all know the league is better when the Raiders are competitive, and this move gives them the influx of funds that makes things more amenable to a winning tradition.

see you down in Arizona bay

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNN... We get it, you don't like the Raiders, but you're getting kinda boring about it. :laughing

I gave one earlier, you're failing to comprehend it. :dunno

Must have been hard to cherry pick over your random trying to pick a fight. :dunno

I saw that. With Coughlin available and Shurmur probably on his way out. I cannot help but wonder if we will reunite.

It became pretty obvious to most of the fans that in the season after that Coughlin was hung out to dry because of Jerry Reese shitty team staffing. With a new GM and a very young team needing to be developed, I cannot help but wonder...

There has also been some talk of Hoodie coming back to the Giants because relationships with Brady and the Krafts is strained.

Just pointing out that you aren’t understanding sometimes the choice is an emotional one, beyond logic.

Re-read your posts, then tell me I’m the one “picking a fight”... :laughing

All emotions have a reason behind them. If you care not to explain yours, that is fine, but there is no reason to continue the dialogue if you do not choose to participate in it. You're not my girlfriend, I'm not going to try and decipher the secret meaning behind what you actually meant if I had the heart to listen for your feelings. :laughing

Was your Dad, Lyle Alzado's (I loved that guy) coke dealer? As a kid, did you acquire a collection of Howie Long's used hair gel bottles? Did your Uncle Tim get his very first felony at a Raiders Game?

Having an emotional attachment to a team is seriously not a hard question to answer. :laughing

Your second paragraph is just blatant trolling, so I guess I touched a nerve. :dunno :laughing

I like my team, you like yours, probably best to just leave it at that.... :teeth

Not at all, but that shit was hilarious. Have you seen Howie Long's hair? :teeth

I am still confused as to why you are trying to continue a dialogue you do not wish to actually participate in, but I'm easy. I mean, if anyone cared about why I liked the Giants (LOL, no one does), I could throw off like 7 bullet points of the top of my head, like I said, it isn't hard. I've been trying to talk other football, but you keep coming back to this yet not talking about your investment. :dunno

With Josh Gordon gone, I cannot help but wonder if the Seachickens will try to get the trade out of Cleveland Odell Beckham is pushing for. I also have to wonder if Lynch would be willing to get into a bidding war to obtain him for the Niners and also to keep him out of Seattle.

Bringing that dude onto either team would really next level their offense and clearly he won't play for anyone that isn't a serious playoff contender. I understand his cap hit for the remainder of his contract through 2023 is about $15 Mill per year.

Has he been reinstated?

Based on his most recent career choices, I suspect he will not be available next season. :laughing
