NFL 2021

I like your 11-6, it would be nice if they worked out that way. It would be good if giving Gruden the boot actually accelerated the team. That Guy was an unfortunate tie to the past and I really want to see the Raiders succeed now to prove that the only thing they needed to do to be successful after 25 years of being one of the worst teams in football is to abandon Oakland and have nothing to do with East Bay life.

It really looks like the Bills might be the team to beat in the AFC right now though.

As they are currently playing, Bills and Cards could be a pretty good Superbowl. I don't have much of a dog in that fight, but I would root for the Cards.

Those poor bastards are the oldest team in pro ball and they have not won a Championship since like WWII. :laughing

I may not like what you say about the east bay, but I sort of agree...it's for the best that Vegas be as different an experience as possible.

I see Bills-Cowboys rn. Dak has the It factor and they get timely turnovers on D. And they are in a horrible division. we'll see.

Cards won't beat the fighting Bradys if they get that far. I don't think they beat A-A-Ron either.

They'll probably win the West just cause Wilson got hurt, the entire Niners team got hurt again, and the Rams are still the same sorry ass Rams even with Stafford.

Chargers - Bills would be a fun as hell AFCCG.

LOL, I don't have to say anything about the East Bay, I just let it speak for itself and nothing else need be said. :laughing

I like the bold pick, but I simply cannot see Dallas surviving January. It is probably bias from watching them so closely over the last 25 years, but I just have a hard time believing Jerry's Cowgirls can keep their spine through the Playoffs. They just always find a way to crumble, you know? The Al Davis of the NFC always finds a way to break their spirit under pressure.

You might be right about Green Bay now that they have gotten their heads on straight. I think the Tampa Bay Grandpas are just getting too beat up and the age of the team is going to keep compounding injuries, you know?

I also wouldn't count the Chiefs out yet, Andy Reid is crafty, the Chiefs O is the Chiefs O.

I'm also letting some bias pollute my ability to believe in the Chargers. Maybe as the season goes on I will, they certainly are playing well, but it is just hard for me to think of them as a real football team, you know?

you're right. I can still hear all the past shit talk I guess, haha

That's how I feel about arizona. I don't think Murray can sustain his play at this level through the whole season and playoffs. Dak, otoh, is a beast. Travon Diggs is a ball hawk. They beat very good Chargers and Panthers teams and still have 4 more layups vs. divisional opponents. as always, it'll come down to attrition. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if GB or ARZ make it though...anyone but Brady and Antonio Brown.

Rams vs Chargers, SoFi Stadium, a Big market Superb Owl bore fest.... :laughing

(It's pre-directed in the other e-mails the league won't release! ;))

Holy shit. Is it in L.A. this year? If Rams and Bolts both get there we are going to have a major quake in So Cal for sure.

Great effort by the Raiders. Really proud of Carr, and the defense.

Solid win. Fresh take works. Olson got to call the plays he wanted to.

Carr always wanted to go for the 15+ yard plays more often than Chucky. And Carr probably has more freedom to change the plays at the line than before.

:laughing

For real though. :|

He will be a free agent next year, I do not think we will try to resign the dude unless he concedes to working cheap. He is just too fragile. You can't even count on him to be a 1st & 2nd down back.

Dead horse etc but that's why it was a horrific draft pick. RBs not named Frank Gore just don't have the longevity to be worth it, and generally can't take over games anymore the way guys used to.

+1, with Derrick Henry being the one and only exception...actually not really an exception because he was drafted in the 2nd round.

Well, pretty much at this point the Pitchforks and Torches are being drawn up for Dave Gettleman's head with the drafting of The Savior being high on the list of reasons why, along with the Nate Solder contract.

It really is just an unfortunate situation that is 14 years of terrible GM work with Blue. Jerry Reese never gets blame for all the bad work he did, because he won 2 Superbowls with the Team Ernie Accorsi built.

Gettleman did a decent job getting the Salary Cap Nightmare Reese left us with sorted out, and now we will have 2 1st round picks next year, we look well leveraged to pick a lot of talent in 2022, but we need a guy who can pick actual winners to make the calls.

The legacy of missed picks over the last 14 years is pretty epic.

Whole lot of riding Eli to make up for a bunch of shit, but you're not wrong.
