I would agree, However, since it came from a political figure, it is considered political. I do not think Budman (nor the Mods) can have any wiggle room here as (like stated before) it can open a political can of worms. IMHO, Budman made the correct call.

Like Brokenlink said, if it came form anybody that is not a political figure (or in politics) then it would not have been "political". Heck, the name could have been removed and just post the words (with no reference who or where it came from) and that would probably of been ok.

Some things I refuse to tolerate without voicing my opposition.
And I don't really give a fuck "why" someone else would tolerate it.

This line above is perfect for your own quoted post (also above). There is no defense to posting poltical items in a forum that is restricted from posting political content. So yes; defending the posting of political content outside allowed areas (KSP/ KSP 2.0) is Indefensible (and exhausting) :)

We keep track of political content posted outside of the Political Forum. This was your 3rd time. You've been given a break 2x previously. Once in February of this year and again in May.

regardless of how you view his politics, Rob Reiner was influential in the TV medium, he had an impact far beyond the average producer. His death is tragic in many ways much of what caused it is personal and not to be known by most of us. I hope peace comes to all those involved.

I can agree with this mindset. Sometimes I feel the same way. But if we're going to coexist 2.0 needs to be more Switzerland-like.

Just because I tried to stop the pile ups on some folks because they were disrespectful?? All my actions were based on the basic premise don’t be a d!ck and there were a lot of d!cks being waved if anyone provided an alternative opinion to the general population.

Some people think it was defending.

The only thing I was defending was the right to have a conversation.
