Like the idea getting practice with a 22lr pistol. Skills learned on the 22 should easily translate to larger caliber pistols. Heh when talking semi-automatics the minimal ammo cost sure is attractive.
I don't know about scopes on a pistol. After getting a steady aim, good groupings. Next step is Old West style point and shot. Hitting bullseye without using the sights. That's the cross road, to get even more precise using a scope or point and shoot.
Buckmark and Mark III can use Ultimate Clip Loader. I got one off ebay for $20. Tried it out it works great, very easy. A must have to take to the range.
The 22 Rifle the bolt action types are most precise. Semi-Automatic very accurate and are nice not having to pull a bolt each shot. No doubt a 22 rifle won't be enoughA nice 30 caliber something or hunting bolt action.

Yeah - a MKIII first and a .22lr rifle shortly thereafter. I'd rather just use the same ammo between the two (.22lr)...
