WOW you really must be good!!!! *CLAPS HANDS* You can read
peoples emotions? Your a joke. You didn't have one word with him on the phone, you never seen him eye to eye, so seriously i wish you'd take your own advise, get off your imaginary throne and blow your brains out.

He MIGHT be lying about the whole thing might not. you're extremely quick to judge things you obviously don't know.

But since your so good, PLEASE PLEASE... Oh magical one... Please read my future! :wow:laughing:laughing

Just judging by your attitude... Short, and Dim... With a bright light at the end of a tunnel.

FWIW: The point everyone is trying to drive home into your head, DivZ's head, and everyone else.... is.....

It doesn't matter how long ANYONE has been driving up 9,35,84, etc... with the skill and safety of, something like a bag of hammers. This time someone's life was at risk. Someone other then the person behind the wheel, and the unfortunate passengers contained within said vehicle. Which in it's own right is foolish enough as it is.

This time he damn near killed an innocent motorcyclist. By his own actions, of what is plained labeled as unsafe, and reckless driving. Had he hit the motorcyclist, he would have been looking at heaps of citations, license suspension *(and possible complete revoke of it), criminal charges of manslaughter, or worse depending on how far the DA would like to push the case. And let me tell you, the current stance with the DA right now for "Street Racing" offenses, is FULL punishment, on every possible charge.

I have stated, in detail, why I think DivineZ was spewing bullshit in his posts. I have one degree in Psychology, most my doctorate credits have been completed and I have experience working with conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder and criminal adolescents. I have also worked with drug addicts and on lock-down psychiatric wings.

I have heard just about every excuse, rationalization, and justification for destructive behavior there is.

Sir, I know bullshit when I smell it.

I'm not turning on my fellow BARFers, I'm just making a point.

First of all, in my first fucking post MY FIRST ONE i said that he was wrong. You guys' are obviously unable to comprehend that that isn't the point i was making at all.

Read what i quoted, then read what i wrote. I never ONCE said anything about safe or dangerous or any fucking thing else. I know it's unsafe, i know it's dangerous.

I've said more than a few times that i understand what he did was dangerous. So wtf exactly is your damn point? My point was that turning him into the police, and being complete douche bags isn't teaching him a lesson.

You people keep quoting me on things i said to a specific person. Please educate yourself and read my prior posts before replying next time.

I didn't base my opinion on his emotions, I based it on his words. He contradicted himself several times, he shoveled the blame around (The Miata made me do it!), he failed to take sole responsibility for his actions and, despite BARFers' willingness to point him in the right direction (track days, 1Rider, driving schools) he did not take up any of those suggestions.

He offered to meet in person, and that still might happen - we don't know if he will show or not. If he does and manages to swallow his pride and take full, sole responsibility for his actions AND present some kind of workable plan that will keep him on his side of the road he will do a lot to earn back my respect and the respect of other BARFers.

My assessment of his behavior (not his emotions) fits nearly perfectly with the type of emotions I described. His reactions were predictable, but in the interest of not trying him for crimes uncommitted, I did not pre-judge him before he posted. Every response I have made since his arrival has been based on his observable behavior, not mystical powers. His behavior is consistent with a pattern I see over and over again. So it's my experience in the field working with this very risk-taking behavior that brings me to this conclusion.

I don't know his emotional state, but I can take a well-educated guess. Just as you don't know he was genuine, despite all the holes in his story, the fact he was caught in several lies, and his continued attempt to blame others for his bad choices. He took the minimal amount of guilt possible and tried to skate out on real responsibility.

Now, unless you have an MA in Psychology back there you want to whip out, you might just consider listening to someone who has chosen to make this his profession.

Simple, what he said online may not have been a lie. No matter how much you THINK it is.

Christ, all of his defenders still seem to be missing the point on this. NO ONE IS ACCUSING HIM OF LYING. We are accusing him of apologizing for the wrong thing. His apology didn't demonstrate any self-awareness of what he actually did wrong. Go back and re-read. Yes, he apologized. Even Blind Io thought it was sincere. It was just sincere about the WRONG THINGS. I personally believe he apologized the very best of his abilities, because he doesn't have the ability to understand the full scope of how and where he has fucked up.

It's not about reading people's emotions, or projecting our preconceptions onto anyone. You don't have to. Read what he wrote. It's like I ran over your kid and sincerely said "I'm sorry your kid happened to be in the same spot as my tire." You don't need to know me to know I'm apologizing for the wrong reasons.

educate yourself

it's becoming exceedingly obvious that the only strategy of divz's sycophants is to keep this at the level of he said she said bickering match and play the victim. it's obvious, it's trite, and its infantile.

InsaneStang, Kurt made a decision and that is that.

Everyone nothing to see here, you don't have to go home BUT you DO have to get the #%$^ out of here.

He didn't start to post until the 31st, the same day he talked to someone in person i think it's on page 14-16? But I get your point, just not sure it's the case here

Nissan people? 3 years ago I liked Nissans. Theres no point to this statement the same way there isn't any point in "nissan people" comment.

I realize how dangerous it is and i have nothing to work on! I don't race up there i cruise there on occasion.

Especially for me? meaning? I don't understand that statement. I crashed when i was younger, a few months after getting my license actually.
Then what are you doing here? If you don't drive a Nissan and you are just a limp wrist, then are you just jerking off in your mom's house because you can't get laid?

Why don't you and the other, "I am a high school idiot", take this conversation to kitchen sink and hump each other?

You crashed, when you were younger, hey.

READ MY DAMN POSTS.

I almost DIED from someone crossing the double yellow.
I had several operations.
It cost ME $100,000.
I AM STILL HERE.

Now, let's hear your little weenie story. And remember, I can still out drive you, even if your father is younger than me. :laughing

Oh, you don't have a REAL story, do you?

Who do you think you are talking to, my little buddy?
:laughing

Bye, now!

OK, you guys keep trying to bring up street legal events, who cares about legal events? Most of you have said you don't care about him hauling ass on the road. Why bring up your guys' "direction"

If he met kurt in person i would truthfully be surprised. I know i wouldn't dream of meeting someone that wants to straighten me out, but decides to turn me into the police before talking to me.

I understand EVERYTHING you meant but I guess I didn't make my point too great. If what he was saying was true, then maybe he's just trying to get you in the mind state that he was in, to realize how he could've made the mistake. Very simple. I believe he did say it's no excuse i was explaining the situation. I know I've used methods similar in the past.

How is turning him into the police going to help? For all you know he's gotten hsi car impounded in the past and gotten in trouble in the past. Shit i know that I have. That wouldn't change one thing if I was him. All it would do is remind me 2 never waste time talking to people about my mistakes.

Yeah well no body died, he had a story behind the situation, obviously everyone here hated him prior to his post. Having a close call is NOT the same as getting into the accident, if you ALMOST hit a car you say "sorry i screwed up I was paying attention to the hot girls walking down the street" After the same result as I've said, there would be a few people here that wold hate him if he never drove anything again in his life.

^ you need to read the whole thread buttercup but really, you need to leave this subject be. You clearly don't grasp the magnitude of the situation. It's filed and sent... the boys in blue are who he needs to talk to now. This should not affect you since you are not him and drive like a sane person.

Glad your still here. What weenie story do you want? That I fucked up with a passenger in my car? I did. I had my mom dad and multiple friends on the scene too. My fuck up is not no secret. I can speak from a car guys' perspective, i can't speak from yours. I've rode bikes but I don't own one. never put myself in a scary situation like this but i can almost promise you that i wouldn't of reacted like the people in this thread did, well atleast after he came here.

Glad you choose to undermine me because you're older than me. Thats cool you can drive better then me... you want a cookie or something? I've pulled some pretty amazing stuff off in a car, yet never once mentioned any of it until this point.

Ok "Big Buddy" are you emplying that you weigh 500 lbs or something? Please i didn't do anything 2 deserve being sat on!!! :laughing Seriously that was stupid but whatever.

Honestly I would let it go but people continue to quote me. I got no problem with anyone here, I just see a lot of ignorance and a lot of people that can't admit when they need 2 chill out sometimes.

I do grasp that someone easily could be killed, after all of this you'd think that he was killed.

It's quite obvious that I'm going to turn out to be the 'stupid' person in this thread, it's very easy to turn twist and manipulate everything someone says to make them look bad. My OP says more than anything else, and unless people continue to quote me or say something further i am done here

than why do you claim to have a gsxr 1000 where is says motorcycles? :dunno

I thought that i needed 2 write something in order 2 register haha. It's the only street bike i've ever rode on so i wrote that

Dude, then be the bigger man and let it go? Can I ask you to do that?
I know you want to get your point across but I'm sure that someone has already articulated it (in some form) in pages past.

So, lets respect Kurt (It is his thread/subject) and lets end it with his decision shall we fellas?

I'm not going to speak for Kurt, he can do that for himself.

We've already established that his "mistake," as you put it, is not an isolated incident, but a deliberate act. That's not a mistake, it's a choice.

If he said that it's no excuse, then stop making excuses and just say, "There is no excuse for my actions, I'm sorry." He might, hypothetically, go on to say that he will keep it on his side of the DY and take his drifting or togueing or whatever the hell it is to close-circuit tracks. That would have been the way to handle it. Saying "I'm not making excuses BUT..." just shows that you still make excuses.

Turning him into the police is a severe consequence for a severely fucked-up pattern of behavior that has severe consequences. It is, however, much less severe than a judge telling him to attend the funeral of his victim before going to jail while ownership of his parents' home is turned over to the victim's family as compensation. Based on my experience, his posts and his behavior pattern, I doubt he has ever faced many consequences. I would put money on his parents being permissive in their parenting style and not enforcing consequences for misdeeds. These lessons are ones that many of us learn early in life stealing cookies as children. Now he's older and he doesn't get it, so, to combat years of ingrained behavior and thought patterns, a more direct approach is required. Anything less will be perceived as weakness and he will likely think that he managed to talk his way out of yet another consequence. This single act of reporting him to the police, may, in the long run, be the single greatest force in reforming him, or at least getting him off the road for a while. He will likely cry that it's not fair and that no one was hurt, that he did nothing wrong and that we, as motorcyclists, are unfairly persecuting him. Tough. That's the result of his decision; the consequence for his actions.

I personally think Kurt was more than charitable in not calling the cops immediately. I can't say that I would have done the same.
