R6 vs 600rr

If you say so. I look at the second one and see nothing more than a plastic bimbo that doesn't know her way around anything but Macy's. :teeth

I wouldnt take the bimbo either, but no ass or titties??!! :wow come on man!!! Thats like having a dude! lol

lol werd, gotta have at least one of the two. And trust me, there are plenty of the asian ladies that have one or both of those assets :party

Oh, you're quite right. I should have recommended that OP buys a factory race bike instead of something available to the general public for $10k.

Um, last I checked the 2006 GSXR1000 I bought is available to anyone.

Look at any AFM raceday and see the GSXR-to-whatever ratio...and these are street-based bikes, not something that just happens to look like a machine off the showroom floor but is a rolling example of shiny unobtanium parts. Personally, I think that it's about time Honda stepped up (I fancy the new 1000RR myself), but Suzuki has been at the game so long they pretty much have the formula down pat.

Reward to the one who can find me a girl like that.

Back on topic...

I noticed on the Mid-Ohio Formula Xtreme race that most teams were running 600RR's. I guess if I had to choose a bike that I new was a winner, I'd go with what the pro's are winning on. :2cents

Don't forget that Honda has a crapload of corporate money. ;)

Granted. But as compared with Superbike, I just didn't see very many Suzuki's. There's gotta be more involved there than money. If that were the case you'd think there'd be more 1000RR's involved.

If it was me, I would go with the Honda 600RR rather than the R6. I used to own a R6 before, and I had to rev it high to be on the power band. Other than that it was a great bike.

You also need to remember about insurance. You need to call around and get quotes on both bikes and see which one is cheaper. I think that will help you make a decision as well.

I also like the R6 looks better than the Honda. But Honda is better over all. The Triumph 675 its an awesome bike as well. I would buy the Triumph over the R6, 600RR, GSXR600, and zx6rr.

Of course if you have the money, I would suggest the Ducati 848 :)

Insurance is the last thing i worry about when buying a bike or car. My Triumph actually cost more then my R6 but it didnt stop me from wanting it. I liked it because of its ergo's and handling.

How the bike feels, rides, and could you live with it day to day if (which i assume) your going to be riding it often on the street. That should be the real decision maker.

There is a reason why they say the 600RR is one of the best street bikes of the bunch

See - this is where the whole thing gets skewed. Best street bike "out of the bunch."

News flash for ya - the "bunch" absolutely suck as street bikes. They're all still track tools at heart. Liter I4s as the exception, why don't the lot of you look at twins / V4s / triples instead? Calling *any* modern race rep 600 a good "street bike" is misleading at best.
